Wow... Cobbleheads restaurant has one of the most delicious burger I have ever had.. Custom made to order, added blue cheese crumbles and jalapenos and it was just delicious. My wife had the wrap beef tacos and she loved them. The waitress was very attentive and cordial never being gone for too long before coming to see if we needed anything. Very impressed with their service and a big menu to boot. Will definitely stop by again on our next trip to the Rio Grande Valley.. Loved it!

Open since the 90s, Cobbleheads is a Brownsville staple. No other restaurant has the vibe that this place has. Live music ok the weekends and a house band on Sunday afternoons. Incredible food. The Philly and the Nachos are amazing! My mother and sister rented the party room for my wife's baby shower and we had an incredible time. The server, Tracy, took care of us. Nora was great at the bar! Good prices during happy hour. They have an outdoor patio where they place live music and it has an awesome overlook towards the resaca. During nice days, it's a real treat to have a meal or some drinks outside. I highly recommend trying this place at least once. Service can take some time so get ready to wait if there are a lot of people. Peak hours can be hectic Parking may suck so try parking next door at the motel 6. 5 stars mang!

Excellent food, indoor or outside by the water where i sit and enjoy my favorite local band, Emilio Crixell and Border Soul on Sunday evenings regularly! I have also had my last two birthday celebrations at Cobbleheads! Great food, accomodations and music!

Walking distance to our hotel! We been hearing good things about this place. We decided to give them a try. We went on a Friday night so we can listen to the band they had that night. We are glad we went because the band was very good. We order the chip and home-made salsa. It was flavorful ,but on the super spicy side. We also ordered the country fried chicken with was good and it came with a tomato base soup that was absolutely delicious. We wanted to try their fried ice cream, but they ran out of it for the day. So we end up getting the Apple pie ala -mode. Which was okay for being bar food. They had great drink special and the price for the drinks are pretty cheap. We will definitely come back the next time we are in town.

This place is amazing. We planned on going to one of the local chains for Mother’s Day. While driving around Brownsville we saw a parking lot that still had open spots so we stopped. We were greeted by every employee upon entering. We chose to sit outside on the resaca and one of the staff noticed our young daughter eyeing the water. He came over and gave her a cup of bread to feed the catfish and ducks. If you eat with a three year old you know how big this was for us. Food was excellent Price was very fair. Drinks were huge (including the mimosa they gave my wife for Mother’s Day) Cannot recommended enough!!

4 people - 4 entrees, 2 apps, 1 dessert, 4 beers, 2 sodas - 150 all in including a good tip. You can’t find that just anywhere, and especially not anywhere with such great service. Everything was delicious, reasonably priced, and delivered with a smile and good conversation.

What a fantastic place! We sat outside, enjoyed amazing food, music, happy hour drinks (2-6) dessert and an amazing waiter! Esteban was great at recommending food choices (delicious fish sandwiches, pepper cheese steak sandwiches, shrimp tacos, fried ice cream and fried cheesecake) and happy hour margaritas on the rocks (pint size!)with the best lime salt I have ever tasted ! Esteban was personable, patience, funny, and from beginning to end of our 3 1/2 hour time there smiled and was attentive! Thank you so much!

The food was really tasty. But the waitstaff and owners were amazing. They were on top of everything and very accommodating to us and our large dog on the patio. I'd like to come back when they gave a band. Its the type of place where you'll have a great time. We'll be back when we're in town again.
